We are firm believers that the best form of proof of embedded green credentials is an accreditation that includes a third-party onsite audit. Our third-party authenticated certifications are validated by independent professional auditors that are not involved in the consultation process.
Green accreditations or certifications are fast becoming the most talked about asset in the hospitality sector with many investment portfolios concluding they provide added value. We are delighted that investment is drawn to businesses that can provide proof of sustainability compliance but we ask just how deep does it go?
Experience has shown that the most credible certifications require an onsite audit. During an extensive onsite visit the auditor makes a practical assessment of documentation and physical evidence of the site operations, and talks to staff members about their part in the application of sustainability values.
This certification caters for all types of hotels including luxury, boutique, standard, part of a group or privately owned and whether you are situated in an urban city area or more rural location. Our recognised accreditation incorporates all the necessary ESG values associated with a high level of standard criteria that matches other well known brands.
The process begins with a consultation FREE call. If you proceed a we take a 30% deposit with the balance on completion. You will be assigned an auditor, who can answer any questions about the criteria, during the process. Once a pass level of 50% is established we book the audit and once a pass level is assessed your award is sent to you.
Robust compliance standards
We have over 100 compliance standards, including 38 mandatory ones, which are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) and others. There are 3 levels of certification based on the percentage of standards met (Bronze 50%, Silver 75% and Gold 95%)
Professional audits
Our professional auditors assess the evidence provided during an onsite visit. In cases where this is not feasible a desktop audit takes place. The certification is renewed annually to maintain and check standards are adhered to.
Cost and process
Cost is based on rooms, starting from £480 per year. A desktop audit is included and an onsite audit is required within the first 3 years at an extra cost. A 30% deposit is taken and the remainder paid on award of the certification. Process usually takes 6-12 months.

We are on-hand throughout the certification process to answer any questions about the criteria standards. This certification is renewed on a yearly basis.
